Orishev A.B. GENDER RELATIONS IN EUROPE: SOCIO-CULTURAL ANALYSIS
Abstract: In the article the author attempts to conduct a comparative socio-cultural analysis of gender relations on the example of ten European Nations. The choice of this «ten» was carried out on the principle of population. First in the list of the Germans. The number of Germans is defined by 140 million people. Last in the list of Romanians. Their total population is 23 million, as a result, the research focused on Germans, Spaniards, Italians, Englishmen, Frenchmen, poles, Scots, Portuguese, Dutch, Romanians. Despite the fact that the Russian did not become the subject of study, mentioning that people are very helpful. This will allow to develop recommendations for establishing communications between Russians and Europeans. Great attention is paid to the role of family and marriage among European peoples, the characteristic behavior of men and women in establishing interpersonal contacts. Serious attention is paid to the attitude of Europeans towards children and the elderly. This criterion allows to determine the degree of morality of a society. When writing the article we used the following methodology, developed by the modern science: a content analysis of travel forums and social networks; surveys and monitoring; comparative and socio-psychological methods.
