The article analyzes theoretical approaches to the understanding of emotional well-being and its indicators. Attention is paid to the fact that modern socio-cultural conditions provoke the growth of a large number of emotionally unstable adolescents, with high levels of anxiety and neuroticization, which has a negative impact on the harmonious personal development and the formation of the ability to build and maintain constructive interpersonal relationships. Socio-psychological training is recognized as an effective method of correcting emotional disadvantage as a way of active learning for adolescents through the acquisition of life experiences simulated in group interaction.
